Dr. Sumanth Kumar Mallupattu is a highly skilled Consultant in Neonatology with a strong background in medical oncology. His educational journey includes an MBBS degree and MD in Undergraduation from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool, AP. He pursued post-graduation in Radiation Oncology at the esteemed Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India, from 2012 to 2015. During this time, he gained valuable experience in Cobalt-60 and Linac- Conventional Planning, 3dcrt, Imrt, Vmat, Igrt, and Brachytherapy.
Dr. Mallupattu pursued a DM in Medical Oncology at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He has a significant clinical experience of three years in chemotherapy at PGIMER. Dr. Mallupattu also has research experience, having worked as a "Research Scientist" under the National Cancer Registry Programme (NCRP), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), at the Department of Radiotherapy, Jipmer, Pondicherry, from August 2015 to February 2016.
Dr. Mallupattu's professional experience includes a two-year tenure as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Indian Red Cross Society Cancer Hospital, Nellore, AP, from August 2017 to August 2019. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at NIMS, Hyderabad, since September 2022.
